In The Here & There & Now
Springtime continued to spread its many colors upon me this week...
I went with Scott and Janie to our beloved pal see Steve in a production
of "The Odd Couple" at the Smiling Rhino Theatre in Pompton Lakes...
After taking his bow, we all headed to the Oakland Diner for a late night snack and some laughs...
Other diners, of course, always weigh heavily in our travels...
Storefronts, errands, parks and studio work took their place in my week (as they often do)...
Blotter paper on an acrylic paint-pouring area created a de facto abstract expressionist painting.
I tweaked an old photo of my chubby, angst 15-year old self from 1988
and made time to check in with a barber shop mirror in the present...
And then of course (as always) there is vintage (and contemporary) randomness...
Look forward. Look back. Look around... Just keep looking.
