Two really nice recent additions to my Howard Johnson collection.
Each given to me this Christmas by my friends Noreen and Jimmy.
As is the case with others, they nailed my taste level perfectly.

Postcard memories of The Garden State and its many attractions: 1940-1970.

Vintage images of this lakeside amusement town and its many colors. Having been there quite a few times with my grandparents in the 1970s and later, I can say that (even decades later) it had not changed a whole lot from these 1950s and 1960s photos.

Some Howard Johnson's Restaurant items from my collection: A toy bank, a Plasticville train set model, a dinner plate and an ice cream bowl (given to me by the last owner of the last HoJo in NJ at the Asbury Park boardwalk).
